Science Horizons has no paid staff, but depends solely on the voluntary efforts of many people in our community. The organization depends totally upon the contributions from local companies and individuals to provide money for prizes and to pay the costs of putting on the annual event. Prizes, the trip to the International Fair and scholarships are determined and approved annually by the Board of Directors based on available funds.

Over the past several years the majority of Science Horizons support has come from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Union Carbide Corporation. Other substantial support has come from Schlumberger-Doll, Duracell, Branson Ultrasonics, Praxair, Raytheon Optical Systems and Connecticut Light & Power.

Thank You to all who made
