Biography:

Dr. Miglietta received his B.S. in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison .  He has been at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals since 1988, and has worked on a wide variety of projects including developing therapeutics for viral diseases (rhinovirus and HIV), autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis), and oncology targets.  Recent responsibilities involve understanding and annotation of the human genome, especially as it involves therapeutic targets.  He has numerous scientific publications and the inventor on several patents.   He currently lives in Bethel , CT with his wife and two sons.
